Aura Smart Air Ltd. (“Aura“, “us“, “our“, or “we“) recognizes and respects the importance of maintaining the privacy of our users and, as a result, we have established this Privacy Notice. If not otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms have the meaning given to them in the Aura Terms of Service (“Terms“) available at https://aura-air-terms-of-service.web.app/. This Privacy Notice explains the types of information we collect from you when you register to use the Services provided through the Device(s) and how we may use, transfer, store, and disclose the information collected, as well as your ability to control certain uses of the collected information.
“Personal Information” means any information that refers, is related to, or is associated with an identified or identifiable individual or as otherwise may be defined by applicable law.
We collect Personal Information from you when you register an account (as an Administrator or as a User) to use the Services, when you sign up for newsletters or our email lists or contact us for any other reason. Examples of the Personal Information that we collect from you when you register an account as an Administrator include: information you provide us, such as your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, credit card details, title and, where applicable, your company’s name. If you are a User, we will collect your name, email address and phone number, as provided to us by the Administrator and any additional information you provide. If you are an Emergency Contact, we will collect your name and phone number as provided by the Administrator.
In configuring your Device(s) to your needs, you may provide certain information related to allergies or other health-related information. If you do provide any such information, you consent to, or represent that you have obtained the consent of the relevant individual for the processing of any such information.
In addition, when you use the Services, certain information may be automatically gathered such as information about your operating system, geo-location, purchase information and data from sensors in the Device(s).
It is your voluntary decision whether to provide us with certain Personal Information, but if you refuse to provide such information we will not be able to complete your account registration and/or provide you with any Services.
We and any of our third party subcontractors and/or service providers may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes: (1) to provide you with the App, Device(s) and/or the Services; (2) respond to your inquiries or requests, to contact and alert you and any other users when necessary; (3) develop new products or services and conduct analyses to improve our current Device(s) and/or Services; (4) use your data in an aggregated, non-specific format for analytical purposes (as detailed below); (5) prevent fraud, protect the security of our Services, and address any problems with the Services; and (6) to provide you with informational newsletters and promotional materials related to our Services.
By analyzing all information we receive, including all information concerning users, we may compile statistical information across a variety of platforms and users (“Statistical Information“). Statistical Information helps us understand trends and users’ needs so that the Device(s) and/or Services can be improved and tailored to our users’ desires. Statistical Information is anonymous and aggregated. We may share such Statistical Information with our partners, without restriction, on commercial terms we can determine at our sole discretion.
We may use analytics tools (“Tools“) including “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of the Services. Such tools collect information such as how often Administrators and/or Users use the App, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to using the App. The Tools may collect certain Personal Information and may link such Personal Information to specific information stored in the databases we use. We may also provide non-Personal Information that we receive to the Tools. We use the information we get from the Tools to improve our App, Device(s), and Services. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to the App is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use located at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html and the Google Privacy Policy located at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
We allow you to use the Device(s) and Services in connection with third-party services, sites, and/or mobile applications, including other “smart” appliances in your household or workplace. If you use our Services with or through such third-parties, we may receive information (including Personal Information) about you from those third parties. Please note that when you use third-parties outside of our Services, including, but not limited to, “smart” appliances which you may connect your Device(s) to, their own terms and privacy policies will (continue to) govern your use of those services.
